The long wait is over! The Overstreet Comic Book Price Guide #55 is scheduled to hit comic shops next week, on Wednesday, February 25, 2026. It should arrive in traditional bookstores about two weeks after that. Our oversized edition, The Big, Big Overstreet Comic Book Price Guide #55, should also arrive February 25, exclusively in comic shops.

In addition to the latest, recently updated prices, this edition features looks at UK Price Variants and the history of Million Dollar Comics, two new Overstreet Hall of Fame entries, and remembrances of Jim Shooter, Peter David, and Mort Todd.

“As most of our regular readers know, the bankruptcy of our former sister company and distributor, Diamond Comic Distributors, really threw a wrench into our schedule,” said Amanda Sheriff, Gemstone’s Editor-Digital. “But now that we have new distribution partners, we’re back up and running with the Guide and with other books to follow.”

“Just so you know, we’ve taken the period to review our prices, particularly on key issues,” said Mark Huesman, Gemstone’s Editor-Print. “This past year has been like nothing any of us on the team have ever experienced, and we’re looking forward to getting fully back in the swing of things.”

Many of you have also noticed the previous edition of The Overstreet Guide to Grading Comics has been sold out for more than a year now, and it’s regularly selling in the $90-$130 range on eBay. The new Seventh Edition will go on sale in June.

We’ll have more the Seventh Edition next week, but if you’re interested in advertising, contact Amanda Sheriff (samanda@gemstonepub.com) or Mark Huesman (humark@gemstonepub.com) for more information. Standard left-hand pages are $1,000 and right-hand pages are $1,250. There are only a limited number of spots.

And on the digital front, Overstreet Access (OverstreetAccess.com) has witnessed some incredible upgrades in just the past few weeks. We’ve added pricing above 9.2 for comics from 1971 to the present (with older issues to follow), new certification settings that allows users to select the certification company and the certification type, and improved search function that includes the New Date Range filter where users can filter by decade. We’ve also added the New Comics page with the most recent releases and a Recent Value Changes page (accessible from the Titles search area) that updates every day by showing all issues with valuation changes that have occurred in the last 90 days.

We also expect to have our webstore – another casualty of the Diamond situation – operational soon.
