Diamond International Gallery’s eBay Store is about to see over 1,000 Golden and Silver Age books added to their inventory. The listings are scheduled to go live sometime during the week of September 8, 2008. The store just opened a few months ago with listings for hard to find Dark Horse Syroco figures such as Terry and the Pirates, Li’l Abner, Mandrake the Magician, and Little Orphan Annie. They quickly added the much sought after EC reprint annuals as well as several copies of the over-sized black and white titles such as Impact and MD from Russ Cochran. With their newest listings the Gallery is expanding to cover collectible comic titles. You can visit the site at Diamond Gallery

“We are finishing the scans and descriptions now. The grading was finished about a week ago,” said Mark Squirek, Senior Manager of Comics and Comic Art Auctions for The Gallery.“While we have some great looking copies and decent runs of titles such as Police, All American Western, Our Gang, New Funnies, Airboy, The Beyond, Captain Marvel, and many other classics, I think that our selection of war-related titles may be the ones that gather the most attention. We have high quality and solid runs of Our Army at War, Sgt. Rock, Star Spangled War Stories, and several others that must be seen to be believed. We have an incredible run of Our Fighting Forces ready to post. It isn’t every day that a store can list long runs of these titles.”

In addition to over 1,000 comic listings ready to go live, the Gallery is also adding a few magazines to the mix as well. “We have a good run of Creepy and Vampirella issues scanned and ready to post,” said Squirek. “This is a very exciting time for us. We have been working on these additions for some time and right now we are days away from going live with the listings. I can’t wait!”
