The Fourth Annual New York Comic Con Charity Auction, which benefits the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, will be held on October 11, 2014 at NYCC in the Jacob Javits Center in Manhattan. The auctioneer for this event will once again be Steve Borock, president of the Comic Book Certification Service (CBCS).

More than 80 comic creators have donated original art for this auction, including Tony Daniel, Dave Johnson, Mark Brooks, Cliff Chiang, Alex Maleev, Dustin Nguyen, Shane Davis, Jose Luis Garcia-Lopez, Sarah Pichelli, Humberto Ramos, Ivan Reis, Walter Simonson, Aaron Kuder, Francis Manapul, Steve McNiven, Luke Ross, David Yardin, and many more.

Since starting this event, the auction has raised $120,000 for St. Jude. The goal for the 2014 edition is to raise another $30,000 for a cumulative total of $150,000 for St. Jude.

St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is internationally recognized for its pioneering research and treatment of children with cancer and other diseases. No child is denied treatment based on race, religion, or a family’s inability to pay.

This year’s auction will be held from 7:15-10 PM in room 1A18 at the Jacob Javits Center. Fans are encouraged to check the website for more details and previews of the artwork to be auctioned and those who will not be traveling to NYCC can donate to the cause by visiting the St. Jude website.
