The Brutal War of Scale, 1/6 vs. 8” vs. 5” – Who Will Win?
Action Figures have never enjoyed more creativity and excitement, and with new manufacturing techniques, sales and distribution opportunities, there’s an explosion of opportunities for collectors, fans and kids of all ages. But what type of action figures will win and what kind will lose? Join an All-Star Panel of toy experts including Chris Byrne (The Toy Guy), our own J.C. Vaughn (The Overstreet Comic Book Price Guide), Steve Forde (Go Hero), Joe Ahearn (Captain Action), Winston Dunlop (Executive Replicas) and Johnson Suen (Phicen). Moderated by Ed Catto of Bonfire Agency.
The panel will take place at the New Yorok Comic Con on Friday, October 10, 2014 from 3:15 PM-4 PM in Room 1A05 at the Jacob Javits Convention Center in Manhattan.
“There’s more change and churn in this industry than ever before…and more opportunities for collectors and creative manufacturers. We’ll take a look at some of the exciting trends for Action Figures—and predict what formats will win this epic battle!” Ed Catto, co-founder of Captain Action Enterprises.
