Due to a scheduling conflict, the Fall 2007 Philly Non-Sports Card Show was cancelled. Run by Frank Reighter, it’s been an important event for non-sport and entertainment card collectors since the 1980s. To avoid missing the annual show, Non-Sport Update magazine will be promoting it for a one-time event in Allentown, Pa (just a short distance from Philadelphia).

The show will be held at the Merchants Square Mall in Allentown, located at 1901 S. 12th Street, Allentown, Pa 18103, on November 3-4, 2007. There will be vintage and new trading cards, including unopened boxes, packs, chase cards, promotions, and more. It usually includes over 60 dealers with over 100 tables, so collectors should bring any extra copies of cards because the dealers will also be looking to buy.

The card manufacturers Inkworks, Breygent Marketing, Donruss, and the Topps Vault will be there. Eleven guest artists will also be in attendance, including Otis Frampton, Kevin Graham, David Gross, Fred Harper, Joe Jusko, Brian Kong, Doug Koozer, Jim Kyle, Jay Lynch, Steven Miller, and Jeff Zapata. Giveaways and other events will be announced soon. For more information on the show, collectors should go to the official website.

Non-Sport Update is a magazine for non-sport card collectors. It is published bi-monthly in January, March, May, July, September, and November. Each issue has promotional trading cards, articles, and a price guide of over thirty pages, including cards from the 1880s through the present. For more info on Non-Sport Update, contact Harris D.
