Nintendo released a “Summer Showcase” video highlighting the various independent game titles heading to the Nintendo Switch system through the end of the year and into the next. The various indies – or “Nindies” as Nintendo likes to call them – covered a variety of different genres and styles.

Hyper Light Drifter has already proven to be a hit across the various platforms it’s already appeared on, and when it comes to the Switch, it’ll feature new exclusive content. This content includes new weapons and new gear for the Drifter to wear. Hyper Light Drifter: Special Edition arrives on the Switch on September 6, 2018.

Mineko’s Night Market, a charming little game about crafting, farming, trading, and – most importantly – cats, will be arriving on the Switch first before it arrives on any other console. It’ll arrive in early 2019.

In other animal news, gamers will be able to take control of a far less cuddly animal in Untitled Goose Game, where they take on the role of a “horrible goose.” The point is to simply ruin everyone’s day and create chaos throughout time. This will also arrive in early 2019.

Other games shown in the presentation included Towerfall, Treasure Stack, Zarvot, Samurai Gunn 2, Bullet Age, The World Next Door, Levelhead, King of the Hat, Bastion, You Don’t Know Jack, Desert Child, Wasteland 2: Director’s Cut, The Messenger, Undertale, Jackbox Party Pack 5, Transistor, and many more.

The full presentation can be seen below.
