Nexus Returns in November

One of the most highly regarded indy comics of the 1980s is set to make a
return. Nexus, which started at Capital Comics, moved to First Comics and
finally wound up at Dark Horse Comics, is returning to Dark Horse in the form of
Nexus Archives, a series of 7” x 10” hardcover books
collecting the original series.

The quirky, epic adventures of Nexus and
his diverse cast of supporting characters starred in three magazine-size black
and white issues and six full-color issues at Capital before the publisher
ceased operations. Those early issues, though, introduced the creative team of
writer Mike Baron and artist Steve Rude to fandom. In the ensuing years, each
has won recognition, and the book has one numerous awards.

Volume 1 will present Nexus Volume 1, #1-#3 (the magazine
issues) and Nexus Volume 2, #1-#4 (full color). The book will be a
216-page hardcover with a new cover painting by Steve Rude. It will carry a
price tag of $49.95 and is due in stores November 16, 2005.
