In addition to the appointment of Wendy Kelman as Executive Director of
Geppi’s Entertainment Museum (GEM) [see
separate story], Diamond Comic Distributors President and Chief
Executive Officer Stephen A. Geppi also announced the following appointments to
the staff of the new facility:

Arnold T. Blumberg, Editor for Gemstone
Publishing, has accepted the role of Curator at GEM. He joined Geppi’s Comic
World in August 1995 as a Sales Clerk. In December 1995, he transferred to
Gemstone Publishing as Research Editor and ultimately Editor. In addition to his
authorship of and contributions to many Gemstone publications, Blumberg has
written and designed numerous other books. He completed a Doctor of
Communications Design degree at the University of Baltimore in January
2005.

Julie Stewart, most recently employed with PassPort: Voyages of Discovery
as their Marketing and Sales Manager, has signed on with GEM team, as Associate
Director of Sales, bringing with her several years of marketing and sales
experience. She will join the staff next month.

Jeff Robison, General
Manager for Hake’s Americana and Collectibles, has accepted the position of
Auction/Retail Development Director for GEM. Robison joined Hake’s in July 1991
and developed a strong knowledge and experience of the industry.
