The movie theater will be just a little bit friendlier in 2017. According to a report by Variety, Hasbro studios has greenlit a feature film based on My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, the wildly successful children’s cartoon that currently airs on Hub Network.

This will be one of the first films to be produced by Allspark Pictures, Hasbro’s new in-house production label. The other film is the previously announced live-action Jem and the Holograms project, set to release in October 2015.

My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic has received overwhelmingly positive critical reviews due to its humor and positive messages for young audiences. Music from the show has also been previously nominated for Daytime Emmy Awards. The show is the latest in the My Little Pony franchise, which dates back to 1983, and so far has a comic book spinoff and countless collectible toys based on it.

The 2017 film will be the third one based off of the show. The first two, Equestria Girls and Equestria Girls – Rainbow Rocks, were direct to home releases, though the latter had a limited theater release in the United States and Canada.
