E3, the Electronic Entertainment Expo, held at the Los Angeles Conversion
Center May 10 – 12, 2006, is the biggest electronics and gaming expo in the
United States. Showcasing the latest in videogame technology, companies form all
over the world travel to E3 to debut their latest.

And this year, MTV has
jumped onto the video game bandwagon with their upcoming documentary-style
special, Gears of War: The Race to E3. The special will follow those
involved in the making of the upcoming Gears of War videogame as they
prepare to debut their game at E3.

The special, which airs on Friday, May
19, 2006 at 10:00 pm, will take viewers behind-the-scenes of the making of
Gears of War and the preparation that goes into getting read for a major
trade show.
