The television arm of both the MCU and Star Wars will be gaining two series in 2022. Disney+ has announced that Ms. Marvel and Andor are set to hit the streaming service between October and December of 2022.

Ms Marvel will star Iman Vellani as teen superheroine Ms. Marvel/Kamala Khan for a six-episode run. She’ll be joined by Rish Shah as Kamran, Zenobia Shroff as Muneeba Khan, Laurel Marsden as Zoe Zimmer, Matt Lintz as Bruno Carrelli, Mohan Kapur as Yusuf Khan, Aramis Knight as Kareem/Red Dagger, and Saagar Shaikh as Amir Khan.

After that series, Vellani will reprise the role for Captain Marvel sequel, The Marvels, with Brie Larson as Captain Marvel and Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau. It’s scheduled for February 17, 2023.

Andor is a prequel to Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, starring rebel spy Cassian Andor. Diego Luna is returning to the role he originated in Rogue One. It is set to be a spy thriller that dives into Cassian’s history to reveal more about his early days with the Rebel Alliance.

The series is also set to star Anton Valensi, Stellan Skarsgård, Adria Arjona, Fiona Shaw, and Genevieve O’Reilly. Forest Whitaker is expected to return as Saw Gerrera, but that hasn’t been confirmed yet.
