Detroit’s annual Motor City Comicon will kick off this weekend at the Rock
Financial Showplace, 46100 Grand Rive Avenue in Novi, Michigan. The show, which
is Michigan’s largest pop culture convention, will feature an extensive guest
list of both comic book professionals and media guests.

Headlining the
show on the side of the comic creators is classic Marvel artist, Jim Steranko,
along with George Perez, Mark Waid, Greg Horn, Mark Sparacio and Billy Tucci.
While such media stars as the cast of the Batman television show,
including Adam West (Bruce Wayne/Batman), Burt Ward (Dick Grayson/Robin),
Malachi Throne (False Face), Julie Newmar (Catwoman), Lee Meriwether (Catwoman)
and Yvonne Craig (Batgirl).

In addition to a playbill of guests, Motor
City Con will also feature a variety of programming over the course of the
weekend including an anime festival, art contest, costume contest and a fan
appreciation party. One-day passes are available for $20 per pay or weekend
