Sony Pictures released the final trailer for Morbius ahead of the movie’s April 1, 2022 release. The superhero movie meets horror tone is evident from the beginning of the trailer when Morbius shreds a team of armed men much like Dracula did when he crossed the ocean.

Previous footage covered how Morbius transitioned from a terminally sick doctor to the living vampire. In this trailer, he acknowledges that his cure is a curse and that he must either hunt and consume blood or die. It shows him using his new powers and different shots of his vampiric face as multiple characters try to tell him what he should do with his new abilities.

Jared Leto joins the Marvel universe as Dr. Michael Morbius. The movie also stars Michael Keaton in an unmade role (rumored to be reprising his Spider-Man: Homecoming role as Vulture), Adria Arjona as Martine Bancroft, Jared Harris as Emil Nikols, Matt Smith as Loxias Crown, and Tyrese Gibson as Simon Stroud.

Morbius will be releasing exclusively in theaters.
