Mile High Adventure Run in Comic Auction
The Heritage Signature Comic Auction has just opened for bidding. This jam-packed event features a significant number of collections. Among them are the Toronto Collection, The Tom Fagan Diamond Run Collection, The Fantastic Frank Collection, and The Mile High Adventure Comics. Each of these collections would be provide a significant event if listed alone, however, having them in one auction is truly incredible.
The Toronto Collection consists of several thousand 1950s comics. The collector was 12-years-old when he came to America from Hungary. He purchased mostly Western books and superhero comics. Since his mother didn’t want the books in the house, he kept them in the garden shed! Among the impressive runs of Batman, Detective Comics, Wonder Woman, and Superman there are some of the highest graded copies in the CGC Census. The collection also includes a complete run of the “Atlas superhero revival” series.
The auction is listing Golden, Silver, and Bronze Age books as well as memorabilia, animation art, pulps, and a lot more. Over all, there are more than 1,500 lots in the event. Online bidding is currently open and all the information you need is available at Heritage online.
