In the early 1990s, First Comics and Berkley Publishing rebooted the Classics Illustrated line with contemporary artists suchs Gahan Wilson, Kyle Baker, John K. Snyder III, Rick Geary and many others. Papercutz has been reprinting those titles in new editions.

On June 10, 2014 they will release Mike Ploog’s beautiful adaptation of Mark Twain’s Tom Sawyer. During the original run of the series, this title was one of the best-selling of all 27 titles released under the Classics Illustrated banner.
