Mid-Atlantic Nostalgia Convention Returns Sept. 15-17
The 17th annual Mid-Atlantic Nostalgia Convention will be held on September 15-17, 2022, at the Hunt Valley Delta Marriot, located at 245 Shawan Road in Hunt Valley, MD. The show will feature a slate of celebrities guests, including Batman 1966 villain actresses Nancy Kovack, Linda Gaye Scott, and Sharyn Wynters. Kovack is also known for her work in Jason and the Argonauts and Scott and Wynters also played killer robots in the original Westworld.
“Normally we have more than a dozen celebrities of television and motion pictures signing autographs and posing for photos for fans, but this year is extra special because half a dozen of them have never appeared at conventions for fans before,” convention organizer Martin Grams said. “The event is non-profit to benefit children with treatable cancer. Having Batman villains added to the fold this year is extra special because none of them have signed autographs for fans on the East Coast – and this is on top of the half dozen.”
Celebrity guests also include Bob Eubanks (The Newlywed Game), Jimmie Walker (Good Times), Melissa Gilbert (Little House On The Prairie), Robert Fuller (Laramie), Sam Jones (Flash Gordon), Susan George (Straw Dogs), Loretta Swit and Jamie Farr (M*A*S*H), Mindy Cohn (The Facts Of Life), Lynn-Holly Johnson (For Your Eyes Only), Constance Towers (The Horse Soldiers), and others.
Additionally, there will be hundreds of vendors, a 24-hour movie room, presentations, and more. “Perhaps the biggest highlight is a slide show presentation on the history of Sergeant Preston of The Yukon and the vintage collectibles from the television series, and celebrity panels on stage throughout the weekend,” Grams added.
Admission to the Mid-Atlantic Nostalgia Convention is $20 per day at the door.
