Meg Foster Returns to Masters of the Universe
Masters of the Universe: Revolution is getting a franchise alumnus. Meg Foster, who starred in the Masters of the Universe movie in 1987 is loaning her voice to the Masters of the Universe: Revolution Netflix animated series.
Foster played the villainous Evil-Lyn in the live-action movie that starred Dolph Lundgren as He-Man, Frank Langella as Skeletor, and a young Courteney Cox as Earth teenager Julie Winston. For Kevin Smith’s Masters of the Universe: Revolution, Foster will voice Motherboard, the ancient sorceress of technology.
Revolution is the sequel series to Masters of the Universe: Revelation, which premiered on Netflix in 2021. The first series was seen as a follow-up to the cartoon of the 1980s. Revolution is described as an “all-new story that brings the focus to He-Man vs. Skeletor like you’ve never seen them before. It’s technology versus magic as He-Man and the heroic warriors face the forces of Skeletor and a deadly threat to the Planet…”
The voice cast for Masters of the Universe: Revelation included Chris Wood as Adam/He-Man, Sarah Michelle Gellar as Teela, Mark Hamill as Skeletor, and Lena Headey as Evil-Lyn. Other newcomers that are joining Foster for Revolution are Melissa Benoist taking over the role of Teela and William Shatner in an undisclosed role.
Foster is also known for the drama/thriller The Osterman Weekend, ‘80s cult hit horror movie They Live, and Rob Zombie’s horror movies The Lords of Salem and 31.
