A new set of heroines are ready for their introduction in Save Yourself!, a new four-issue limited series at BOOM! Studios. Created by the Pandora’s Legacy team, the comic is written by Bones Leopard, with art by Kelly and Nichole Matthews, and lettered by Jim Campbell. The series begins in June 2021.

“What if Magical Girls aren’t Earth’s champions after all? The world’s most beloved heroes Aoe, Thel, and Gen, better known as the Lovely Trio, first burst onto the scene five years ago when they saved Earth from a surprise space monster attack! Since then, everyone – including Gigi, whose brother died as a bystander in a Lovely Trio battle – has idolized them as super-heroic pop icons. But when Gigi witnesses the Lovely Trio battling a monster firsthand, she sees something that causes her to question everything she thought she ever knew about her heroes,” the synopsis reads.

Save Yourself! #1 features a main cover by the Matthews duo, a Magical Girl variant by Stephanie Gonzaga (Ducktales), and a variant by Kevin Wada (DC Pride). The first issue will be in comic shops on June 16.
