Start celebrating Halloween early at the Comics & Toys MonsterCon on October 4 and 5, 2008. The 2 day convention for fans of superheroes, science fiction, horror, fantasy, games, anime, and performing arts will be held at the Cabarrus Arena and Events Center. This year, you can get autographs from actors who portrayed two of horror films most frightening icons: Halloween’s Michael Myers and Friday the 13th’s Jason Voorhees. Brad Loree, Michael Myers in Halloween: Resurrection, and Ken Kirzinger, Jason Voorhees in Freddy vs. Jason will be special guests at the show in Concord, North Carolina.

Saturday and Sunday dealers will be coming from all over the East Coast and beyond with a large variety of merchandise. Celebrity guests will be there, along with comic book creators, novelists, movie makers, and several other special guests. There will be plenty of entertainment options, including gaming, discussion panels, stand-up comedians, trivia contests, costume contests, and more.

Saturday night Comics & Toys MonsterCon will host a convention after party and concert. Skele-tunes will be played by The Graveyard Boulevard, The Tremors, Psycho Charger, and a few other bands, and Single Cell Productions will be providing their style of madness and excitement.
