The superheroes of Marvel are already getting into the Halloween spirit with a group of trick ‘r treat mask variant covers. Drawn by James Kerigan, the variant covers feature 1960s style Halloween masks of Marvel superheroes, complete with “cut out” lines. The 15 covers will arrive in comic shops throughout September 2025.

“Working on this cover series was a blast because it brought together two things I love deeply: Marvel and Halloween. There’s a nostalgic charm to the Halloween decorations of the ‘70s, especially those vacuform costume masks, which served as inspiration for this project,” Kerigan said. “It was a joy to bring that retro, slightly spooky charm to life in a way that celebrates both the season and the art.”

The Amazing Spider-Man #11 mask, Avengers #30 Beast mask, and X-Men of Apocalypse Alpha #1 Magento mask variants will be released on September 3.

The Captain America #3 mask and One World Under Doom #7 Doctor Doom mask variants are scheduled for September 10.

The Amazing Spider-Man #12 Green Goblin mask, Deadpool/Wolverine #9 Wolverine mask, Fantastic Four #3 Thing mask, Incredible Hulk #29 mask, and Marvel Knights: The World to Come #4 Black Panther mask variants will arrive on September 17.

The Battleworld #1 Iron Man mask, Daredevil #25 mask, Storm #12 mask, Thor #2 mask, and The Vision and the Scarlet Witch #5 Scarlet Witch mask variants come out on September 24.
