Marvel is celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Bring on the Bad Guys trade paperback that told the origin stories of Marvel’s greatest villains with a new comic event in June 2025. Writer Marc Guggenheim and a group of artists will tell the story across seven one-shots starring Doctor Doom, Green Goblin, Loki, Red Skull, Mephisto, Abomination, and Dormammu.

The supervillains and several others will be featured on Bring on the Bad Guys variant covers released throughout June. The 20 covers will show the title’s hero facing off against one of the supervillains, featuring classic pairings like Green Goblin vs. Spider-Man and new matchups like Maestro vs Emma Frost.
