Marvel Comics has put a new omnibus on their schedule, covering a very specific and important month in the company’s history.

In August 1961, Marvel published the first issue of Fantastic Four, introducing Marvel’s first major superhero team. Created by Jack Kirby and Stan Lee, the Fantastic Four would become one of Marvel’s most popular and long-lasting titles.

When the comic celebrates its 60th anniversary in August 2021, Marvel will release Marvel August 1961 Omnibus. It will contain that historic comic and everything else Marvel published that month, not just in superhero titles but horror, mystery, romance, and Western.

The omnibus collects Fantastic Four #1, Journey Into Mystery #73-74, Kathy #13, Life With Millie #13, Patsy Walker #97, Amazing Adventures #6, Kid Colt, Outlaw #101, Linda Carter, Student Nurse #2, Millie The Model #105, Strange Tales #90, Tales of Suspense #23, Tales to Astonish #25, Gunsmoke Western #67, Love Romances #96, Teen-Age Romance #84, Amazing Adult Fantasy #7, Patsy and Hedy #79, and Rawhide Kid #25.
