Mark Waid is Incorruptible?
Last spring, Boom! Studios grabbed a few headlines and a lot of attention with their creative “Mark Waid Is Evil” campaign that kicked off Waid’s ongoing series Irredeemable, which deals in long form with the question “What happens when the most powerful superhero in the world turns really, really bad?”
Now the writer is checking out the flipside of the coin with Incorruptible, a new ongoing series launching in December 2009 and asks the question: “what happens when a villain becomes a hero?”
On the day that the former superhero known as The Plutonian destroyed SkyCity, Max Damage had an epiphany and changed his evil ways. He also changed his name to Max Daring, and he’s trying to follow a different path. That may be easier said that done
Incorruptible will feature interior art by Neil Edwards (Squadron Supreme) and the first issue sports covers by John Cassaday (Astonishing X-Men) and Tim Sale (Batman: The Long Halloween).
