professional to transform it into a world class museum. Mark Ward (pictured
with his associates) has been the Deputy Director of the American Visionary
Art’s Museum (AVAM) in Baltimore Maryland for many years but took a sabbatical
to support the installation of Steve Geppi’s collection in Geppi’s Entertainment
Museum (GEM) as the Project Manager. Mark has always been highly respected and

museum’s development benefited by Mark’s attention to detail, numerous museum
resources combined with a newfound passion for collectibles has helped make GEM
an extraordinary experience.
Working closely with John K. Snyder, Jr,
the Executive Vice President of GEM, Dr. Arnold T. Blumberg the museum’s
Curator, Wendy Kelman, the museum’s Executive Director and other GEM staff, Mark
has helped bring Steve Geppi’s vision of a comprehensive pop culture museum to
the public.
Mark has had a team of museum seasoned artisans and veterans
working with him. They have enjoyed evenings, weekends and holidays together
building this exciting enterprise and the result boasts well their joint efforts
and their dedication. Mark will be continuing to support the development of GEM
even after he returns to his position at AVAM. Several of his team members,
mount makers and framers continue to fine tune GEM’s Galleries.
From
Steve Geppi and the entire Diamond family of companies, and especially from
Geppi’s Entertainment Museum we pay tribute to Mark Ward and his associates.
Babe Ruth said “The way a team plays as a whole determines its success”. We look
forward to the great success of Geppi’s Entertainment Museum and have been
honored to have had Mark Ward on the team.
