Lynxana, the ThunderCat bounty hunter who targets other ThunderCats, is back for the ThunderCats #1 premium mystery blind bag. Dynamite Entertainment and Warner Bros. Global Consumer Products announced her return as a part of the program. Each ThunderCats #1 blind bag release includes the comic and a surprise exclusive comic. ThunderCats #1 by Greg Pak (Batman/Superman) and David Cousens (Cheetara: Worldbreaker) is available on November 4, 2026.

Lynxana was created for the first comic book series that was published by Marvel in the 1980s. Her story began in ThunderCats #4 (June 1986) when she was introduced as an exiled ThunderCat that started hunting her own kind. She is a rare comics-based character that didn’t appear in the animated series and hasn’t appeared in other comics either.

ThunderCats: Lynxana #1 is the modern comics debut of the titular character. It is written by Nate Cosby (Cheetara: Worldbreaker) and illustrated by Sebastián Píriz (Speed Racer). Lynxana will then star in a direct sequel that starts in February 2027. Then she will appear in the main title and in the ongoing ThunderCats: Cheetara by writer Saladin Ahmed (Wolverine) and artist Andrea Arcari.

“We snuck a Western into the ThunderCats universe,” Cosby said. “A distress call gets sent out from a shady planet that’s home to the roughest bounty hunters in all the galaxy. Bluegrass (of SilverHawks) goes to answer the call, but gets shot down before he can even begin to investigate. What, and WHO, he finds on that planet, is gonna impact the ThunderCats comics franchise for years to come.”

ThunderCats: Lynxana #1 features a cover by Píriz that is also available in black and white, without trade dress, and with a special ThunderCats logo.
