Red Skelton remains one of the best known and most influential names in both the comedy and entertainment industries. From his earliest days in the circus, to vaudeville, to the radio airwaves and finally on television, Skelton was at the forefront of change and innovation in entertainment.

The Red Skelton Show remains one of the best examples of his television work, and a recently released DVD set proves that. Red Skelton: The Lost Episodes collects 16 episodes from seasons 8 through 11, when the variety show was a half-hour long.
