Things really took off at Hake’s Americana Auction #173, which just closed
on April 1st. In fact, two major records were broken! A gorgeous “Tonto, Dan
Reid and The Lone Ranger” Merita Bread Premium Picture sold for $29,069.00 – a
record price for a premium paper picture. There was also a Rare Tarzan Signal
Oil Co. Complete Picture Puzzle Premium, depicting a swinging Tarzan and a
jungle full of fantastic animals, which sold for $10,573.00 – a record price for
