Loki Season 2, Echo Premiere Dates Announced
Marvel has revealed the premiere dates for the next two Disney+ series. Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige announced that Loki will return for season two on October 6, 2023, and Echo will debut on November 29.
Loki, starring Tom Hiddleston as the god of mischief, is the first Marvel Disney+ show to get a second season. It will pick up where the first season ended with the creation of multiversal timelines after Loki variant Sylvie killed He Who Remains. Feige shared that Owen Wilson and Sophia Di Martino are back as Mobius and Sylvie, respectively, and recent Oscar winner Ke Huy Quan is joining the cast.
Echo is a spinoff from Hawkeye starring Alaqua Cox as Maya Lopez, the deaf, Indigenous character who worked for Kingpin until she learned important truths about him and her father’s death. After the events of Hawkeye, Maya leaves New York City to return to her hometown. Feige revealed that all of the episodes will drop at the same time, deviating from the other Marvel Disney+ shows that released one episode per week.
