Image Comics has proudly announced that the third issue of their hot
series, Lions, Tigers and Bears, has sold out in the first day of
release. This follows quick sell-outs on the first two issues, proving that
there is still a place in today’s market for quality original all-ages material.

“Not only are many of our regular customers picking up Lions, Tigers
and Bears
for their children or younger siblings, they’re putting one in
their own reading stack as well,” said Brandon Huigens, manager of Samurai
Comics in Phoenix Arizona. “This book doesn’t simply say ‘all ages’ but truly is
all ages and that’s something that certainly doesn’t come around
often.”

The third consecutive sellout cements the adventure through the
Stuffed Animal Kingdom as one of the hottest all-ages titles to hit comic shops
in years, as well as continuing the trend of sold out books coming from Image
Comics in 2005.

With the recent announcement of Lions, Tigers and
Bears
being picked up by the largest Children’s Literacy Program in the
Southwestern United States for use in their summer programs, as well as other
monumental announcements on the horizon, this is clearly a title that is about
to be exposed to a lot more of today’s readers.
