DC Comics; $2.99

Jim Shooter’s second issue of Legion picks up where the first left off, which is to say that the team is under assault from at least two directions: super-powered attack drones and bureaucrats (and we’re not saying which is worse). The storytelling is every bit as solid as you’d expect from a guy whose first stint as the writer of these characters started when he was a teenager and comics were a dime. It’s not that anything mind-blowing has happened yet. Instead it’s that you can almost feel something big coming. We’re ready for it.
