The Fantastic Four are known as Marvel’s First Family, and they have stuck together through many forms of adversity. That familial unit is the focus in the latest teaser for the upcoming Fantastic Four movie, which also announces that tickets are now on sale.

It starts with a voiceover from Sue Storm (Vanessa Kirby), saying “Family. It’s about connecting to something bigger than yourself.” She is seen looking at the baby’s crib, and Reed Richards (Pedro Pascal) and Sue share a kiss. The team watches as the Silver Surfer (Julia Garner) flies down to Earth, and Ben Grim (Ebon Moss-Bachrach) uses his incredible strength to pull a ship into harbor. There’s a shot of Sue and Reed with their baby, followed by the worried team looking at a fiery sight in the sky.

The trailer is a mix of previously seen and new footage, including a sequence of the team in the Fantasti-Car as it takes flight. It shows Galactus’ giant shadow over the city, Johnny Storm (Joseph Quinn) sharing high fives and fist bumps with Sue and Ben, and Johnny asks Ben if it’s “Clobberin’ time.” The teaser ends with a scene between Reed and Johnny in which the former shows off the new space suits while the latter busts his chops.

The movie is set in what director Matt Shakman described as a “retro future” version of 1960s New York. The technology is advanced for the time, but everything still has the ‘60s aesthetic and style – as if it is what people in the ‘60s would assume the future would look like.

Fantastic Four also stars Paul Walter Hauser, Natasha Lyonne, John Malkovich, Ralph Ineson, and Sarah Niles. It flies into movie theaters on July 25, 2025.
