Skybound has provided a new look at Lastman Book One, the first volume in the complete series remastering of the French fight comic. The book contains volumes 1 and 2 of the original series with a new foreword by Robert Kirkman. It will be in comic shops in November 2022.

Lastman by Balak, Michaël Sanlaville, and Bastien Vivès is collected in English for the first time in this edition by Skybound. Full color pages open each volume, followed by the book’s signature black and white pages. All six books come with new, remastered translations and backmatter with additional series art.

“Adrian Velba has trained all year to fight in the Valley of Kings’ legendary tournament. However, despite his ambition, he has no chance of winning. Not only is his partner unable to compete, but at 12 years old, Adrian is the longest of longshots,” Skybound’s description reads. “That is, until a mysterious, powerful stranger enters town, offering to join forces with Adrian. Lastman Book One will be in comic shops on November 9 and Book Two with volumes 3 and 4 will be published in March 2023.
