Obi-Wan Kenobi will return soon! On Disney+ Day, LucasFilm dropped a one-minute video that provides some context on the upcoming series, Obi-Wan Kenobi.

Ewan McGregor is back as the titular Jedi Knight with Deborah Chow in the director’s seat. In the video, the star and director discuss fan interest in bringing Obi-Wan back, along with some story details as the video shows concept art and some stunt practice.

The show is set 10 years after Revenge of the Sith. It’s a dark time for Obi-Wan since being a Jedi is no longer safe in this Empire ruled galaxy and he’s still dealing with the pain of watching his apprentice turn to the Dark Side. His mission to keep Luke safe is a starting point for the series, but he’ll come face to face with Darth Vader again, bringing back Hayden Christensen as Anakin Skywalker turned Sith Lord.

Obi-Wan Kenobi will start streaming on Disney+ in 2022.
