Some of the scariest dinosaurs are being discovered in the second full length trailer for Jurassic World Rebirth. While the first trailer introduced the characters and the movie’s premise, this one puts the focus on the many frightening dinosaurs that the humans will be facing.

It opens on a chilling scene as a terrified scientist becomes trapped in a room with a dinosaur with no means of escaping. Cut to the main cast who are heading to an island where two dozen species of dinosaurs have survived alone without human interaction. Making matters worse, the dinosaurs on the island represent the most dangerous ones that the Jurassic Park scientists created.

As the scientist (Jonathan Bailey) tries to collect DNA that could be used for medical advancement, the covert ops team (Scarlett Johansson and Mahershala Ali) attempts to keep him and other unlucky survivors safe. A suspenseful scene from Michael Crichton’s Jurassic Park book comes to life in the trailer when a Tyrannosaurus Rex stalks her prey into a river. The T-rex is joined by many different monstrous dinosaurs like the sea-dwelling Mosasaurus.

Jurassic World Rebirth also stars Rupert Friend, Ed Skrein, Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, Luna Blaise, Philippine Velge, David Iacono, Audrina Miranda, and Bechir Sylvain.

Set five years after Jurassic World Dominion, the new entry in the Jurassic Park franchise is directed by Gareth Edwards (Rogue One). It is written by David Koepp, who worked on the original Jurassic Park and its sequel, The Lost World. The movie will be produced by Frank Marshall and Patrick Crowley, who oversaw the Jurassic World trilogy.

Jurassic World Rebirth arrives in theaters on July 2, 2025.
