July 28-30: Otakon

On July 28-30, 2023, Otakon will return to the Walter E. Washington Convention Center, 801 Mt. Vernon Place NW in Washington, DC.

Otakon is filled with activities, like the art show, dance party, larping, a manga library, OtaCafe, a formal ball, video games, and a masquerade, among other activities.

The guest list includes Kyoko Aiba (Mangaka illustrator), Just B (K-Pop group), Hidetaka Tenjin (Macross visual artist), Shota Nakama (producer/composer/guitarist), Yaiba (J-Rock band), Yasuharu Takanashi (composer), Lexi Nieto (voice actor), Ricco Fajardo (voice actor), Shinji Aramaki (director), and several others.

Early bird tickets are $85 for the weekend, $55 for Friday, $65 for Saturday, and $40 for Sunday.
