Josie and the Pussycats are scheduled to play at Eyegore Estates, but when they are about to take the stage, they find a rival band is already there and about to rock. In the next story, Mr. Cabot helps the band find a new place to rehearse – a house that is already haunted by someone else. Then Josie finds a necklace that has a negative effect on her, Melody, and Valerie, and in the last story, the band overcomes pre-show obstacles in a shocking way. 

This installment of Josie and the Pussycats is equal parts music, misunderstandings, and mishaps. The band keeps finding hurdles in their attempts to rock out and perform for an audience, which makes for a quartet of amusing stories. Despite the challenges they face, the band sticks together to make their music and perform for the fans.
