Fall is coming up fast, and with it a new batch of exciting comic and pop culture conventions. Ushering in the changing season is the Mid-Atlantic Nostalgia Convention, scheduled for September 18 through 20, 2008 at the Clarion Hotel in Aberdeen, Maryland. Panels, events, and media will be presented along with collectibles and an auction.

Guests and presentations dominate this show. Some of the guests appearing, include Edd Byrnes (Vince Fontaine from Grease), Jon Provost (Timmy from Lassie), Patty McCormack (The Bad Seed), Kathleen Hughes (It Came From Outer Space), Conrad Brooks (Plan 9 From Outer Space), Mickey Freeman (Sgt. Bilko), Larry Storch (F-Troop), and Margaret Kerry (Little Rascals). Panels and presentations include The History of The Phantom, a History of Sgt. Preston of Yukon, Edward R. Murrow in Broadcasting, History of The Phantom, and The Twilight Zone: The TV Classic.

Many other events will be held, including a charity auction to benefit Johns Hopkins Comprehensive Cancer Center. Saturday night there will be a buffet dinner banquet, including stage performances. Movies will be playing the entire time and the vendor room will be open all weekend, selling comics, Big Little Books, and more. There will be a drive-in movie theater outside of the hotel on Thursday evening before the show.
