Golden and Silver Age comics featured in the Comic Heaven Auction. Comic Heaven
has been running its annual auction since 1985. The auction, which will end July
23rd, features over 8,000 lots – and includes early issues of The
Flash, Justice League of America, Batman, Detective Comics and many
other high-grade Silver Age DC’s. Much of this is, as owner John Verzyl says,
“completely fresh material that hasn’t been available for at least 25 years.”
The Comic Heaven Auction also contains an excellent selection of Timelys, Golden
Age DC’s, Fawcetts, Silver Age Marvels and Horror and Western Comics. There are
also many Pedigree Comics in the auction, including about 200 high-grade Dell
File copies. The entire catalogue for this auction was printed in CBG issue
#1493, and was also mailed out to over 12,000 collectors. The estimated prices
for most of these lots are right at Overstreet Condition Guide. The
minimum bid for all lots ending with a “B” are 50% off this price, while the
minimum bid for all lots ending with an “A” or a “C” are 25% off. As is the
tradition with Comic Heaven, only mail-in bids are accepted, so you’ll have to
