Jim Lee to Appear at Baltimore Comic-Con 2026
Baltimore Comic-Con will hold its next show on September 25-27, 2026, once again at the Baltimore Convention Center. The convention recently announced that comic creator Jim Lee will be attending the con.
Lee is an artist, writer, editor, and publisher, who is currently the Chief Creative Officer and publisher at DC Comics. Throughout his career, Lee has won a Harvey Award, Inkpot Award, Diamond Gemstone Awards, and Wizard Fan Awards.
Since he became DC’s publisher in 2010, Lee has overseen The New 52 and Rebirth initiatives that relaunched the line of monthly books. Lee had a hand in the new costume designs to give characters like Superman, Wonder Woman, and Batman a more modern look. Lee oversees creative efforts on DC’s line of books, as well as DC Vertigo and MAD. He works with DC’s Franchise Management team and Warner Bros. to develop and promote DC projects across all media. Additionally, he is the Executive Creative Director for DC Universe Online, the massive multiplayer online game.

Lee was born in Seoul, South Korea and grew up in St. Louis, Missouri. He earned a BA in Psychology from Princeton University in 1986, and his professional career started at Marvel where he worked on X-Men. In ’92, he created his own production company, WildStorm Productions and co-founded Image Comics. After DC purchased WildStorm, he became the line’s editorial director, and took on art duties for DC titles like All Star Batman and Robin, Batman: Hush, and Superman: For Tomorrow before moving up in the ranks.
“This is huge. Jim Lee continues to leave his indelible mark across the comics industry, and his long history of creating amazing content makes for an absolutely astounding volume of high quality comics,” Baltimore Comic-Con show promoter Marc Nathan said. “The challenge for fans will be figuring out what they want to get signed! Don’t miss out on this unique opportunity to meet one of the greats!”
