Though details on Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice have been scarce, a major rumor has come out of Detroit. According to Variety, an extra on the set at Michigan State told a Detroit news station that Robin will be female in the film and could be played by Jena Malone.

The Hunger Games actress has not made any public statement about her potential involvement in the film, and Warner Bros. has so far declined to comment.

Seeing Carrie Kelley’s Robin on screen as part of Dawn of Justice would make a lot of sense, as director Zach Snyder has previously said the film is partly inspired by the Frank Miller story, The Dark Knight Returns. Carrie Kelley plays a significant part in that story, and could prominently feature into the upcoming film as Ben Affleck’s sidekick.
