January 8-10: Albuquerque Comic Con

The Albuquerque Comic Con will ring in the New Year on January 8-10, 2016 at the Albuquerque Convention Center. The con will host panels and events including costume contests, speed dating, trivia, Q&As, and plenty more, plus signings by media and comics guests.

Comics guests are Don Rosa (Donald Duck), Chad Hardin (Harley Quinn), Mike Zeck (Captain America), Brent Peeples (Grimm Fairy Tales), Chris “Oz” Fulton (artist, tattoo artist), Michael Champion (medieval artist), Andy Kuhn (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles), Brian Pulido (Lady Death), Kimberly Dunaway (sketch card artist), Steven Frank (Zombies vs. Cheerleaders), and Nicole Brune (artist, cosplayer).

Media guests are Carrie Fisher and Peter Mayhew (Star Wars), Ron Perlman (Hellboy), Michael Dorn (Star Trek: The Next Generation), Kylie Szymanski and Madison Lintz (The Walking Dead), Jason David Frank (Mighty Morphin Power Rangers), Kevin Grevioux (Underworld), Marky Ramone (the Ramones), Matt Lintz (Pixels), Gil Gerard and Felix Silla (Buck Rogers in the 25th Century), Mackenzie Lintz (Under the Dome), Chad Rook (Supernatural), Jamie Marchi (voice actress Witchblade), Christy Romano Rooney (voice actress Kim Possible), Samantha Newark (voice actress Jem and the Holograms), and Monica Rial (voice actress Soul Eater).

The three-day pass is $55, Friday is $15, Saturday is $25, and Sunday is $25. Police officers, fire fighters, and active military members get in for free.
