Ithacon 49 to Give Limited Swag Bags to Early Attendees
Ithacon, the comic convention hosted by the Comic Book Club of Ithaca, will return on April 25-26, 2026. Centered around comics, pop culture, and fandom, the con will be held in the Emerson Suites at Ithaca College in Ithaca, New York.
Ithacon will give away swag bags at the show, filled with free comics, graphic novels, and hardcover books. The swag bags are limited in number and will be given out to attendees on a first come, first served basis.
The show will host creators like Chris Condon (Ultimate Wolverine) and Matt Bors (Toxic Avenger), and publishers that include Dynamite, AHOY Comics, and A Wave Blue World.

They will have a cosplay runway, live sketching sessions, and a special Supergirl Showcase that exhibits a Supergirl collector’s comics and other memorabilia.
There’s also plenty of family programing with dedicated gaming areas, activities for kids, and panels for all ages.
Ithacon is managed by students at Ithaca College who take Professor Ed Catto’s “Promoting and Managing Ithacon” class. The students are in charge of guest coordination, registration, social media, public relations, and other aspects of event management.
