Iron Man’s first appearance and the debut issue of Amazing Spider-Man are both offered in Heritage’s Sunday & Monday Comics, Animation, Video Games & Art Weekly Online Auction. Comics close on January 10, 2021, and everything else ends on January 11.

Iron Man gets his origin and first appearance in Tales of Suspense #39 CGC 3.0. The issue features the first appearance of Wong Chu, Iron Man’s first foe, and Professor Yinsen’s first appearance and death. Jack Kirby and Don Heck created the cover and Heck teamed with Steve Ditko and Gene Colan for the interior art. This issue is ranked No. 9 on Overstreet’s list of Top 50 Silver Age Comics.

Spider-Man gets his first self-titled comic and his origin is retold in The Amazing Spider-Man #1 CGC 1.8. This key also contains the first appearances of J. Jonah Jameson, John Jameson, and the Chameleon, as well as the first Fantastic Four crossover. Ditko provided the cover and art for this issue, which is ranked No. 7 on Overstreet’s Top 50 Silver Age Comics list.
