
Inside the Guide: Overstreet HOF – Andy Kubert

In a vibrant and distinguished career, Adam Kubert has touched many characters, including work on the high profile Before Watchmen: Nite Owl miniseries in 2012, as well as stints ranging from Batman vs. Predator and Adam Strange to X-Men and Wolverine: Origin. Among many other assignments, he illustrated Marvel’s 1602 and DC’s two-part “Whatever Happened to the Caped Crusader?” both written by Neil Gaiman.
His work has appeared in Uncanny X-Men, Batman, Flashpoint, Ghost Rider, Ka-Zar, Captain America, Thor, Ultimate X-Men, Ultimate Iron Man, and Action Comics, among others. The son of legendary writer-artist-instructor and fellow Overstreet Hall of Fame member Joe Kubert, he is a graduate of the not-coincidentally-named Kubert School, where he served as a Vice-President, passing on his education to upcoming artists.
