Infected by Art, a new deluxe hardcover coffee table book showcasing fantasy, horror, and science fiction art from illustrators around the world, features a limited edition run of 500 copies with cover by award winning artist-writer Arthur Suydam.

The book was written by Todd Spoor and Aaron Raymond, featuring over 300 images from five categories. The art was selected by a panel-jury of Suydam, horror legends Basil Gogos and Sanjulian, and sci-fi cover artist Ken Kelly. Artists represent the U.S., Canada, Europe, and South America, making this a worldwide collaboration. The book’s contents are summed up on the cover, “The art comprised within is simply the most imaginative thought-provoking and creative art on the market today.”

Suydam is known for his groundbreaking work on Marvel Zombies. He is listed in the book among the “Top 100 Greatest Comic Artists of all Time.” Suydam and others are credited with introducing painted fine art techniques to comics in the ’70s and ’80s. His work has been celebrated in The Complete Cholly and Flytrap, The Art of Arthur Suydam, and The Art of the Barbarian.

In addition to the limited edition front and back covers, Suydam’s art is featured in a three-page spread of never before published master works, including the complete wrap around cover painting of The Walking Dead #1 variant.
