Actress Tanya Roberts, known for her roles in A View to a Kill and That ‘70s Show died on January 4, 2021. She had been hospitalized since December 24, 2020, after she had collapsed while walking her dogs. The exact cause was not disclosed. Her death had been prematurely announced on January 3, then the actress passed a day later. She was 65 years old.

In the James Bond film, A View to a Kill, Roberts starred as Stacey Sutton, the geologist who was targeted by the villain. She was a recurring star on That ‘70s Show as Donna’s lovable, but dim mom, Midge Pinciotti.

Roberts was born Victoria Leigh Blum on October 15, 1955 in the Bronx, New York. Prior to acting, she was a fashion and cover model and studied at the Actors Studio. After working in TV advertising, she made her film debut in 1976’s The Last Victim and The Yum Yum Girls.

Throughout the late ‘70s and ‘80s, she was in Tourist Trap, had a recurring role in Charlie’s Angels, was in episodes of The Love Boat and Fantasy Island, Sheena, and Purgatory. Her roles in the ‘90s included Twisted Justice, Inner Sanctum, Silk Stalkings, and appeared in several episodes of Hot Line and voiced acted in The Blues Brothers Animated Series. After finishing That ‘70s Show, she did guest spots on the shows Eve and Barbershop.
