Lelands sports auction house founder Josh Evans has passed away on Sunday, December 27, 2020. He was 59 years old.

An icon in the sports memorabilia hobby, Evans was the chairman and founder of Lelands, which was established in 1985. He was known for his vast knowledge and appreciation for sports collectibles, as well as his sense of humor.

Evans had been involved in the collectibles industry since childhood with his parents, Stuart and Maxine Evans, who were antique dealers. Learning from them, he started buying, selling, and trading, while building his own business at Lelands.

He is survived by his mother and sister, Andrea.
