The new Illustration House catalog is now online for the company’s December 5, 2009 auction in which they’ll offer an exciting group of art originals.
According to Illustration House’s Zaddick Longenbach, some highlights include “a George Herriman New Years Sunday page, two great Charles Schulz dailies, and a fantastic rare Robert Lawson original that should all be of interest to comic art collectors.”
He said there are also two hidden gems: one by Robert Riggs, whose sporting paintings have gone for over $200,000, and another by Richard Estes, whose photorealistic works have gone for $500,000. Bid forms can be downloaded from their site.
