Humble Bundle Launches Image Comics Bundle

As part of the Image Expo event, the folks at Humble Bundle have put together their second “Humble Image Comics Bundle” and have made it available online. Humble Bundle allows users to pay what they want for a variety of products, usually comic books and video games, with proceeds often going to charities such as Child’s Play and the American Red Cross.

Books that purchasers can get regardless of how much they pay include: Image Expo 2015 Preview, Alex + Ada Vol. 1, Deadly Class Vol. 1, C.O.W.L. Vol. 1, Elephantmen 2260 Book one, Minimum Wage Vol. 1, God Hates Astronauts Vol. 1, Genius #1-5, and Satellite Sam Vol. 1.

Paying more than the average (currently standing at about $14 as of publication) will get users: The Manhattan Projects Book one, The Wicked + The Divine Vol. 1, The Fuse Vol. 1, Velvet Vol. 1, Sex Criminals Vol. 1, Wytches Vol. 1, The Walking Dead Vol. 22: A New Beginning, and The Fade Out Vol. 1. Those who pay at least $18 will automatically also get The Walking Dead Compendium One, East of West: The World, and Saga Book One.

In addition to that, people can sign up to receive a free comic book from the bundle each day, starting January 9 at 11 AM PT. Comics are available in multiple formats in order to be compatible with a variety of e-readers, tablets, cell phones, and other devices. The money put towards the comics can go towards Image but purchasers can also choose to put it towards the Hero Initiative. The Hero Initiative creates a financial safety net for comic creators who may need emergency funds for everything from medical aid to financial crisis.
