The Heroes Convention was held on June 12-14, 2026, at the Charlotte Convention Center in Charlotte, North Carolina. The convention is truly comic-centric with hundreds of comic vendors selling Golden Age greats to the latest issues. Major keys adorn their displays, popular mid-range books are available, as are $1 books and collections. Comic dealers are joined by auction houses, comic graders, and some sellers of toys and related pop culture memorabilia.
They welcome a huge list of comic creators that included Arthur Adams (Excalibur), Darryl Banks (Green Lantern), John Beatty (Secret Wars), Brett Breeding (Superman), Chuck Brown (Bitter Root), Mark Buckingham (Fables), Jim Calafiore (Aquaman), Chris Campana (Spider-Man), Chris Claremont (Gambit), Marc Deering (Star Wars: Doctor Aphra), Trish Forstner (Stray Dogs), Jenny Frison (Wonder Woman), José Luis García-López (Batman), Cully Hamner (Blue Beetle), Scott Hanna (Guardians of the Galaxy), Chad Hardin (Harley Quinn), Klaus Janson (Daredevil), Georges Jeanty (Star Wars: Mandalorian), J.G. Jones (Final Crisis), Jae Lee (Batman/Superman), Bob McLeod (New Mutants), Adriana Melo (Female Furies), Al Milgrom (Avengers), Carl Potts (Alien Legion), Tom Raney (X-Men), John Romita Jr. (Amazing Spider-Man), Alex Saviuk (The Phantom), Tim Seeley (Nightwing), Jim Starlin (Captain Marvel), Lee Weeks (Batman), Stephanie Williams (Nubia and the Amazons), and Skottie Young (I Hate Fairyland), among many others.
“After knowing [Heroes Con creator] Shelton Drum for years, I’m very happy to have finally made it to his fantastic, long-running, comic-centric convention. The fans were great and so were the dealers, and the local hospitality was out of this world. I’m definitely going back,” Gemstone President J.C. Vaughn said.
